पिछले कुछ दिनों से सोशल मीडिया पर आदर्श बहू बनने के कोर्स को लेकर काफी हलचल मची हुई थी। खबर थी कि काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय (BHU) का आईआईटी विभाग लड़कियों को आदर्श बहू बनने की ट्रेनिंग देगा। इसके लिए वह तीन महीने का कोर्स चलाएगा। इस कोर्स का नाम ‘डॉटर्स प्राइड - बेटी मेरा अभिमान’ होगा। अखबारों से लेकर न्यूज वेबसाइट्स तक सबने इस खबर को रिपोर्ट किया था, जिसके बाद सोशल मीडिया में BHU को आलोचनाओं का शिकार होना पड़ा।

क्या थी वह खबर..

IIT-BHU का स्टार्ट अप यंग स्किल्ड इंडिया ‘आदर्श बहू’ बनने के लिए तीन महीने का कोर्स लेकर आया है। यंग स्किल्ड इंडिया के सीईओ नीरज श्रीवास्तव का बयान था कि इस कोर्स की शुरुआत समाज में बढ़ती हुई समस्या को देखते हुए की जा रही है। अभियान को एक निजी संस्थान के साथ मिलकर ‘डॉटर्स प्राइड - बेटी मेरा अभिमान’ कोर्स के तहत तैयार किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया था कि तीन महीने की इस ट्रेनिंग में आत्मविश्वास, पारस्परिक कौशल, समस्या को सुलझाने के कौशल, तनाव संभालने के गुण के साथ ही कंप्यूटर की जानकारी, फैशन के बारे में ज्ञान के अलावा मैरिज स्किल्स और सामाजिकता के भी गुण सिखाए जाएँगे।

क्या है सच्चाई...

बीएचयू के रजिस्ट्रार डॉ एसपी माथुर ने कहा है कि आदर्श बहू या डॉटर्स प्राइड के नाम से IIT-BHU में न तो कोई कोर्स चल रहा है और न ही यूनिवर्सिटी की ऐसा कोई कोर्स शुरू करने की प्लानिंग है। यंग स्किल्ड इंडिया एक प्राइवेट स्टार्ट-अप है जिसका IIT-BHU से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है।

इस स्टार्ट-अप द्वारा किसी और इंस्टिट्यूट के साथ मिलकर चलाए जा रहे कोर्स से IIT-BHU का कोई संबंध नहीं है। मीडिया में चल रहीं इस तरह की खबरें बिल्कुल गलत हैं कि यूनिवर्सिटी ऐसा कोई कोर्स चलाने जा रही है। IIT-BHU प्रशासन इसके लिए नोटिस जारी कर भी स्पष्टीकरण दे चुका है।

IIT-BHU से मिली इस फटकार के बाद अब यंग स्किल्ड इंडिया के सीईओ नीरज श्रीवास्तव ने भी इस बात को सिरे से नकार दिया है। नीरज ने अपने बयान में कहा कि वो बेटी को आदर्श बहू बनाने जैसा कोई कोर्स नहीं चला रहे हैं।
