श्रीनगर। जम्मू कश्मीर के कुपवाड़ा जिले में एक तेंदुआ ने एक घर में घुस कर सो रहे बच्चों पर हमला कर दिया। उन्हें बचाने के दौरान गृहस्वामी गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। पुलिस ने बताया कि बाद में स्थानीय लोगों ने तेंदुए को मार डाला। 
 
पुलिस अधिकारी ने बताया कि कुपवाड़ा जिले के मीर मुकाम इलाके में रहने वाले गुलाम अहमद शेख ने आज सुबह साढे पांच बजे उस कमरे में एक तेंदुए को देखा जहां उसके बच्चे सो रहे थे। 
 
उन्होंने बताया कि शेख ने तेंदुए का मुकाबला किया। उसने शोर मचाया तो पड़ोसी भी मौके पर पहुंच गए। बाद में लोगों ने तेंदुए को मार डाला। 
 
पुलिस ने बताया कि इस घटना में शेख बुरी तरह घायल हो गए और उन्हें इलाज के लिए अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। इस दौरान दो अन्य लोग भी मामूली रूप से घायल हो गए। (भाषा)
