भारतीय जनता पार्टी के प्रति समाज में जो कुछ भी आदर का भाव है और अन्य राजनीतिक दलों से भाजपा जिस तरह अलग दिखती है, उसके पीछे महामानव पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय की तपस्या है। दीनदयालजी के व्यक्तित्व, चिंतन, त्याग और तप का ही प्रतिफल है कि आज भाजपा देश की सबसे बड़ी पार्टी बनकर राजनीति के शीर्ष पर स्थापित हो सकी है। राज्यों की सरकारों से होते हुए केन्द्र की सत्ता में भी मजबूती के साथ भाजपा पहुंच गई है। राजनीतिक पंडित हमेशा संभावना व्यक्त करते हैं कि यदि दीनदयालजी की हत्या नहीं की गई होती तो आज भारतीय राजनीति का चरित्र कुछ और होता।

दीनदयालजी श्रेष्ठ लेखक, पत्रकार, विचारक, प्रभावी वक्ता और प्रखर राष्ट्र भक्त थे। सादा जीवन और उच्च विचार के वे सच्चे प्रतीक थे। उन्होंने शुचिता की राजनीति के कई प्रतिमान स्थापित किए थे। उनकी प्रतिभा देखकर ही श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी ने कहा था कि यदि मेरे पास एक और दीनदयाल उपाध्याय होता तो मैं भारतीय राजनीति का चरित्र ही बदल देता।

ऐसे राष्ट्रनायक पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय की इस वर्ष जन्मशती प्रारंभ हो रही है। उन्होंने मानव समाज की पश्चिम की सभी परिकल्पनाओं को नकारते हुए 'एकात्म मानववाद' जैसा अद्भुत और पूर्ण दर्शन दिया। यह वर्ष 'एकात्म मानवदर्शन' का स्वर्ण जयंती वर्ष भी है। पंडितजी की 100वीं जयंती 25 सितंबर, 2015 से अगले वर्ष तक उन्हें याद किया जाने वाला है। उनकी अपनी पार्टी भाजपा तो सालभर कार्यक्रम करेगी ही अन्य सामाजिक संगठन और लेखक-विचारक भी उनके विचारदर्शन पर मनन-चिंतन-व्याख्यान करने वाले हैं।

ऐसे महत्वपूर्ण समय में दीनदयाल उपाध्याय के समग्र जीवन को ध्यान में रखकर राजनीतिक विचारक संजय द्विवेदी द्वारा संपादित पुस्तक 'भारतीयता का संचारक, पं. दीनदयाल उपाध्याय' का आना सुखद है। पुस्तक की चर्चा भी प्रासंगिक है। दरअसल, लम्बे समय तक सत्ता रूपी गुलाब जामुन के इर्द-गिर्द पसरी चासनी चाटकर पलते-बढ़ते वामपंथियों ने प्रोपेगंडा फैलाकर भाजपा और उसकी विचारधारा को 'राजनीतिक अछूत' की श्रेणी में रखा। अकादमिक संस्थाओं और संचार के संगठनों में बैठकर उन्होंने इस तरह के षड्यंत्र को अंजाम दिया। इस षड्यंत्र को ध्वस्त करने का काम दीनदयालजी ने किया।

हालांकि यह भी सच है कि संचार माध्यमों पर वामपंथियों के एकाधिकार के कारण ही दीनदयालजी और उनके विचार को जितना विस्तार मिलना चाहिए था, नहीं मिल सका। अब समय आया है कि दीनदयालजी का असल मूल्यांकन हो। श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी के आग्रह पर दीनदयाल उपाध्याय राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के प्रचारक जीवन से राजनीति में भेजे गए थे।

उन्होंने भारतीय राजनीति को एक दर्शन दिया, एक नया विचार दिया और एक नया विकल्प दिया। राष्ट्रवादी विचारधारा के मजबूत स्तम्भ दीनदयालजी ने मानव जीवन के संबंध में दुनिया में प्रचलित परिकल्पनाओं की अपेक्षा कहीं अधिक संपूर्ण दर्शन दिया। वामपंथियों के ढकोसलावादी सिद्धांतों की अपेक्षा दीनदयालजी का एकात्म मानवदर्शन व्यावहारिक था।

यही कारण है कि विरोधी विचारधाराओं द्वारा तमाम अवरोध खड़े करने के बाद भी एकात्म मानवदर्शन लोक स्वीकृति पा गया। इसमें सम्पूर्ण जीवन की एक रचनात्मक दृष्टि है। इसमें भारत का अपना जीवन दर्शन है, जो व्यक्ति, समाज और राष्ट्र को टुकड़ों में नहीं, समग्रता में देखता है। दीनदयालजी अपने दर्शन में बताते हैं कि मन, बुद्धि, आत्मा और शरीर इन चारों का मनुष्य में रहना आवश्यक है। इन चारों को अलग-अलग करके विचार नहीं किया जा सकता।

बहरहाल, जब दीनदयाल उपाध्याय के विलक्षण व्यक्तित्व एवं उनके विचारदर्शन की व्यापक चर्चा का अवसर आया है तो राजनीति, मीडिया और जनसंचार के अध्येताओं को उनके संबंध में अधिक से अधिक संदर्भ सामग्री की आवश्यकता होगी। संजय द्विवेदी द्वारा संपादित पुस्तक 'भारतीयता का संचारक' राजनीतिज्ञों, संचारवृत्तिज्ञों और लेखकों की बौद्धिक भूख को कुछ हद तक शांत करने में सफल होगी।

पुस्तक को चार खंडों में बांटकर दीनदयाल जी के समग्र व्यक्तित्व का आकलन किया गया है। पहले खंड में उनके विचार दर्शन पर चर्चा है। दूसरे खंड में उनके संचारक, लेखकीय और पत्रकारीय व्यक्तित्व पर विमर्श है। तीसरे खंड 'दस्तावेज' में डॉ. सम्पूर्णानंद, श्रीगुरुजी और नानाजी देशमुख द्वारा उन पर लिखी-बोली गई सामग्री संकलित की गई है। इसी हिस्से में दीनदयाल जी के दो महत्वपूर्ण लेख भी सम्मिलित किए गए हैं, जिनमें से एक भाषा पर है तो दूसरा पत्रकारिता पर है।

चौथे अध्याय में एकात्म मानववाद को प्रवर्तित करते हुए दीनदयाल जी के व्याख्यान संकलित किए गए हैं। पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय की ख्याति विश्व को एकात्म मानवदर्शन का चिंतन देने और भारतीय जनता पार्टी के विचार-पुरुष के रूप में हैं। भारतीय राजनीति में उनके अवदान से फिर भी दुनिया भली-भांति परिचित है। लेकिन, पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार के क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान को बहुत कम विद्वान जानते हैं।

द्विवेदी की पुस्तक के दूसरे अध्याय से गुजरते हुए दीनदयाल जी उपाध्याय की छवि 'भारतीयता के संचारक' के नाते सदैव के लिए अंकित हो जाती है। इस हिस्से में बताया गया है कि कैसे और किन परिस्थितियों में पंडितजी ने भारतीय विचार के प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए पत्रकारिता को माध्यम बनाया। संचार के माध्यमों पर वामपंथियों के कब्जे के बीच उन्होंने राष्ट्रवादी विचार को लोगों तक पहुंचाने के लिए स्वदेश, राष्ट्रधर्म और पांचजन्य की शुरुआत की। पंडितजी ने कंपोजीटर से लेकर संवाददाता तक की भूमिका निभाई थी। इस अध्याय में देखने को मिलता है कि कैसे उन्होंने पत्रकारिता के सिद्धांतों की स्थापना की थी।

पुस्तक दूसरे क्षेत्रों में भी उनके चिंतन के दर्शन कराती है। निश्चित ही दीनदयाल जी के आर्थिक चिंतन के बारे में बहुत कम लोग जानते होंगे। कृषि, उद्योग, स्वास्थ्य और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भी उनके गहरे चिंतन की जानकारी हमें इस पुस्तक से मिलेगी। दीनदयाल जी संभवत: पहले राजनेता हैं जिनके चिंतन का केन्द्र अंतिम आदमी है। आदमी की बुनियादी जरूरतों के बारे में उन्होंने जिस गहराई से विचार किया, वहां तक भी पहले कोई नहीं पहुंचा था।

पंडितजी अधिक व्यावहारिक धरातल पर उतरते हुए कहते हैं कि प्रत्येक अर्थव्यवस्था में न्यूनतम आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति की गारंटी एवं व्यवस्था अवश्य रहनी चाहिए। न्यूनतम आवश्यकताओं में वे रोटी, कपड़ा और मकान तक ही सीमित नहीं रहते बल्कि उससे आगे जाकर शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और सुरक्षा को भी सम्मिलित करते हैं।

बहरहाल, अंत्योदय का विचार देने वाले राष्ट्रऋषि दीनदयाल उपाध्याय पर उनके जन्मशती वर्ष में एक सम्पूर्ण पुस्तक का आना वास्तव में शोधार्थियों, राजनीतिज्ञों, पत्रकारों और लेखकों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। दीनदयाल जी के समग्र व्यक्तित्व के दर्शन कराने में पुस्तक सफल है। उम्मीद की जानी चाहिए कि इस पुस्तक के बहाने पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय का बिना किसी अवरोध-विरोध के ईमानदारी से विश्लेषण किया जा सकेगा।
