कैनबरा। अगर आप आईफोन इस्तेमाल करते हैं तो यह जानकारी आपके काम की हो सकती है। अपने फोन की स्टोरेज की तत्काल जांच कीजिए, कहीं कोई ‘ऐसा’ तो नहीं जो आपके फोन की स्टोरेज को चुपचाप गटक रहा है। इसके लिए आप अपने फोन की सैटिंग में जाइए, फिर जनरल और फिर आईफोन स्टोरेज।
 
 यहां आपको कई जानी पहचानी कैटेगरी मिलेंगी जो आपके फोन के स्टोरेज का एक बड़ा हिस्सा खा जाती हैं, इनमें एप्स से लेकर फोटो और वीडियो आदि सब होते हे, लेकिन इनके अलावा अक्सर एक बड़ी कैटेगरी होती है, जो चिंता पैदा कर सकती है और वह है 'अन्य' जो आपके फोन में ‘अदर’ के तौर पर दर्ज दिखाई देती है।
 
 यह कैटेगरी अक्सर आपके फोन के स्टोरेज के एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्से पर कब्जा किए रहती है। इस संबंध में अधिक विवरण के लिए अपने आईफोन में और नीचे स्क्रॉल करें और "अन्य" श्रेणी (दाईं ओर अंत में) पर टैप करें। यह बहुत कुछ नहीं कहता है - बस इसमें कैश मैमोरी, लॉग और सिस्टम द्वारा उपयोग किए जाने वाले अन्य संसाधन शामिल हैं।
 
लॉग में हमारे फोन द्वारा की गई एक्टीविटी रिकॉर्ड होती हैं। जैसे यह वाईफाई नेटवर्क से जुड़ा है, एक डिवाइस के साथ ब्लूटूथ कनेक्शन स्थापित करता है, वेब पेज पर कुछ व्यस्तता दिखाता है। इनमें ज्यादातर मामले ऐसे होते हैं, जिसकी फाइलें सामान्य रिकॉर्ड के तौर पर हमारे फोन में दर्ज रहती हैं और ज्यादा जगह नहीं घेरती हैं- अक्सर केवल कुछ मेगाबाइट।
 
हालांकि आपके फोन की स्टोरेज को कम करने में कैश की एक बड़ी भूमिका हो सकती है। दरअसल, नेट पर कुछ भी डाउनलोड अथवा ब्राउज करते समय हमारा आईफोन फिल्मों और संगीत जैसे मीडिया स्ट्रीम को जितना संभव हो उतना ज्यादा सामग्री डाउनलोड करता है। इसका एक कारण यह है कि बफरिंग करते समय आपको अधिक इंतजार न करना पड़े इसलिए यह व्यवस्था हमारे फोन में ही होती है, लेकिन इसमें बहुत सी अतिरिक्त सामग्री हमारे फोन की मैमोरी में चली जाती है।
 
कैश सामग्री हमारे फोन में मौजूद विभिन्न ऐप, वेब ब्राउजर और सोशल मीडिया साइट्स के जरिए भी अतिरिक्त सामग्री को हमारे फोन में जमा करती रहती है। जरूरत पड़ने पर यह हमारे काम तो आती है, लेकिन इससे फोन की स्टोरेज कम होती जाती है। प्लेस्टोर में देखें तो बहुत से एप्प को जितनी स्टोरेज की जरूरत होती है वह उससे कहीं ज्यादा घेर लेते हैं और इसकी बड़ी वजह यह कैश मैमोरी होती है, जो कुछ सामग्री को चुपचाप आपके फोन में सेव कर देती है।
 
अपने फोन को स्टोरेज की इस चोरी से बचाने का सबसे प्रभावी तरीका है कि अपने फोन का बैकअप लेने के बाद उसे रीसैट करें और कैश फाइलों से निजात पा लें। हालांकि बदककिस्मती से यह फाइलें आपके द्वारा विभिन्न ऐप का इस्तेमाल करने के साथ साथ दोबारा वापस आती रहेंगी।

हालांकि बहुत ज्यादा मैमोरी खाने वाली ऐप को आप दोबारा डाउनलोड करके कुछ मैमोरी बचा सकते हैं। इसी तरह बेब ब्राउजर में जाकर ‘क्लियर हिस्ट्री एंड वेबसाइट डाटा’ की मदद से आप अपने फोन की मैमोरी कुछ और बचा सकते हैं। अभी ओर मैमोरी चाहिए तो पुराने मैसेज और कुछ गैर जरूरी सामग्री को हटा दें। आईफोन स्टोरेज को बनाए रखने का कोई और आसान रास्ता नहीं है क्योंकि ऐप्स और उनकी कैश सामग्री के लिए सिस्टम में ही मैमोरी में काफी जगह दी गई है। (भाषा)
