गुड़ी पड़वा के दिन 136 देवों को प्रसन्न किया जा सकता है। शास्त्रों में उनके मंत्र दिए गए हैं। पढ़ें विस्तार से...

इस दिन प्रातः नित्यकर्मों से निवृत्त होकर स्नानादि कर स्वच्छ या नए (सामर्थ्यानुसार) वस्त्राभूषण धारण करें।

इसके बाद हाथ में गंध, पुष्प, अक्षत तथा जल लेकर संकल्प करें।

स्वच्छ एवं गंगा जल से पवित्र की गई चौकी या बालू की वेदी पर नया सफेद वस्त्र (कोरा) बिछाएं।

हल्दी या केसर से रंगे हुए अक्षत (चावल) का एक अष्टदल (आठ दलों वाला) कमल बनाएं।

इसके पश्चात पूरा नारियल लें अथवा संवत्सर ब्रह्मा की स्वर्ण-प्रतिमा स्थापित करें।

'ॐ ब्रह्मणे नमः' से ब्रह्माजी का पूजन आसन, पाद्य, अर्घ्य, आचमन, स्नान, वस्त्र, यज्ञोपवीत, गन्ध, अक्षत, पुष्प, धूप, दीप, नैवेद्य, आचमन, ताम्बूल, नीरांजन, नमस्कार, पुष्पांजलि और प्रार्थना आदि से करें।

संवत्सरोपसर्गा मे विलयं यान्त्वशेषतः ॥'
