नई दिल्ली। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शुक्रवार को भारत के कोविड-19 रोधी टीकाकरण अभियान को चिंता से आश्वासन की ओर यात्रा के रूप में वर्णित किया, जिसने देश को मजबूत बनाया। उन्होंने अविश्वास और दहशत पैदा करने के विभिन्न प्रयासों के बावजूद टीकों पर लोगों के विश्वास को इस सफलता का श्रेय दिया।
 
देश में कोविड-19 रोधी टीकों की अब तक दी गई खुराक की संख्या 100 करोड़ के पार पहुंचने के एक दिन बाद प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने एक लेख में कहा कि देश की क्षमता पर कई लोगों को संदेह होने के बावजूद नौ महीने में यह उपलब्धि हासिल हुई। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि उनकी सरकार ने यह सुनिश्चित किया है कि अन्य योजनाओं की तरह टीकाकरण अभियान में भी कोई ‘‘वीआईपी संस्कृति’’ ना हो यानी वीआईपी (अति महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति) लोगों को तरजीह नहीं दी जाए।
 
प्रधानमंत्री ने टीके का निर्माण कर देश को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने का श्रेय भारतीय वैज्ञानिकों और उद्यमियों को दिया। साथ ही कहा कि विभिन्न समूहों की ओर से उन्हें टीकाकरण में तरजीह देने का दबाव भी बनाया जा रहा था।
 
पुणे और हैदराबाद के संयंत्रों में टीके के निर्माण से लेकर देशभर में उनका निर्बाध वितरण सुनिश्चित करने तक यह चुनौती किस कदर विशाल थी, इसे रेखांकित करते हुए मोदी ने कहा कि यह अभियान स्वतंत्र भारत के इतिहास में एक अभूतपूर्व प्रयास रहा है।

मोदी ने ‘टीम इंडिया-रेस्पॉन्डिंग टू एडवर्सिटी विद अचीवमेंट’ शीर्षक वाले लेख में लिखा कि जब हर कोई जिम्मेदारी उठाता है तो कुछ भी असंभव नहीं होता। हमारे स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों ने लोगों को टीका लगाने के लिए कठिन भौगोलिक क्षेत्रों में पहाड़ों तथा नदियों को पार किया। हमारे युवा, समाज सेवक, स्वास्थ्य कर्मी, सामाजिक एवं धार्मिक नेताओं, सभी को इस बात का श्रेय जाता है कि विकसित देशों की तुलना में भारत में टीका लगाने को लेकर झिझक बेहद कम थी।
 
उन्होंने कहा कि टीकाकरण की शुरुआत के बाद केवल नौ महीने में कोविड-19 रोधी टीकों की 100 करोड़ खुराक देने का सफर अद्भुत रहा। मोदी ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि मानवता 100 साल के बाद इतनी बड़ी वैश्विक महामारी का सामना कर रही है और 2020 में आए इस प्रकोप से पहले किसी को इस वायरस के बारे में अधिक जानकारी नहीं थी।
 
मोदी ने कहा कि भारत का टीकाकरण अभियान इस बात का उदाहरण है कि अगर नागरिक और सरकार एक साथ ‘‘जनभागीदारी’’ की भावना से किसी लक्ष्य के लिए काम करें, तो देश किस मुकाम पर पहुंच सकता है। (भाषा)
