नई दिल्ली। भारत 26 जनवरी तक 20.3 लाख लोगों को कोरोनावायरस (Coronavirus) कोविड-19 टीके की खुराक देकर सबसे ज्यादा टीकाकरण करने वाला पांचवां देश बन गया। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि गुरुवार दोपहर तक 25 लाख से अधिक स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों को टीके दिए गए हैं।

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य सचिव राजेश भूषण ने बताया कि भारत ने छह दिनों में ही दस लाख लोगों का टीकाकरण कर लिया, जबकि अमेरिका ने 10 दिनों, स्पेन ने 12 दिनों, इसराइल ने 14 दिनों, ब्रिटेन ने 18 दिनों, इटली ने 19 दिनों, जर्मनी ने 20 दिनों और यूएई ने 27 दिनों में इतने लोगों का टीकाकरण किया।

भूषण ने कहा, 26 जनवरी तक के विश्व के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, 16 जनवरी को राष्ट्रव्यापी टीकाकरण की शुरुआत के बाद 20.3 लाख लोगों को टीका देकर भारत सबसे ज्यादा टीकाकरण करने वाला पांचवां देश बन गया है। सबसे महत्वपूर्ण पहलू यह है कि कई देशों में 50 दिनों में इतना टीकाकरण हुआ, जबकि भारत में 26 जनवरी तक महज 11 दिनों के बाद इसमें रफ्तार आ गई।

उन्होंने बताया कि 26 जनवरी तक अमेरिका ने टीके की 2.35 करोड़ खुराकें, ब्रिटेन ने 76.4 लाख खुराकें, यूएई ने 27.6 लाख खुराकें, जर्मनी ने 19.9 लाख खुराकें, इटली ने 15.8 लाख खुराकें, स्पेन ने 13.6 लाख खुराकें और फ्रांस ने 11.4 लाख खुराकें लोगों को दी है।

भूषण ने कहा कि टीकाकरण की शुरुआत के बाद से 28 जनवरी को दोपहर दो बजे तक 25,07,556 लोगों को टीके दिए गए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि लक्षद्वीप (83.4 प्रतिशत), ओडिशा (50.7 प्रतिशत), हरियाणा (50 प्रतिशत), अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह (48.3 प्रतिशत), राजस्थान (46.8 प्रतिशत), त्रिपुरा (45.6 प्रतिशत), मिजोरम (40.5 प्रतिशत), तेलंगाना (40.3 प्रतिशत), आंध्र प्रदेश (38.1 प्रतिशत), कर्नाटक (35.6 प्रतिशत) और मध्य प्रदेश (35.5 प्रतिशत) टीकाकरण के मामले में बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने वाले राज्यों में हैं, जहां 35 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों का टीकाकरण हुआ है।

उन्होंने कहा कि तमिलनाडु में (15.7 प्रतिशत), दिल्ली (15.7 प्रतिशत), झारखंड (14.7 प्रतिशत), उत्तराखंड (17.1 प्रतिशत), छत्तीसगढ़ (20.6 प्रतिशत) और महाराष्ट्र (20.7 प्रतिशत) में 21 प्रतिशत से कम टीकाकरण हुआ है और वहां सुधार की जरूरत है।

भूषण ने कहा कि भारत में कोविड-19 की कुल संक्रमण दर 5.51 प्रतिशत है और इसमें लगातार गिरावट आ रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि दो राज्यों केरल और महाराष्ट्र में देश के कोविड-19 के कुल 67 प्रतिशत उपचाराधीन मरीज हैं।(भाषा)
